Week Off – Day 3

True to my word I spent some more of my holiday working on SFU (I have to be honest and say I spent more of it playing Diablo 3, but its an RPG so I’m sure it counts as research!), now I didn’t write very much but after a day or so away from it, rereading chapter 2 I didn’t find it as bad as I first thought. Parts, that as I wrote them I was 100% sure would need starting from scratch actually read better than I thought and the reverse is also true.

It still needs a lot of work and there is still a lot I’m not happy with, but saying that there are still elements of chapter 1 that need revising and I let that one out of the bag for you to read.

I’m afraid that Chapter 2 won’t be here just yet, it still needs some work before it even gets the once over by you guys, but its getting there.

A lot of the comments on the Chapter 1 post mentioned Jezzrael and wanting to get to know more about him, as a warning in advance you’re not really going to get much more on him in Chapter 2, the focus is on the new arrival to the camp and how he came to be there.

I’m struggling a little with Chapter 3, not so much the content but more the order, I have another chapter that was originally supposed to be Chapter 2, which in the end I decided to place somewhere else. It moves to a different area of the Kingdoms and focuses on some other characters, but it does give some more information on Jezzrael as well. So I’m now unsure if I continue from where Chapter 2 leaves off or if I should try and introduce some of the other characters, areas and events that will make up the story over all.

With that in mind a question I have for all of you who have read the 1st Chapter is what questions it stirred up and which, if any of them would you like answered sooner rather than later?
