Rain Rain Go Away

Today has been a miserable day. Not in the sense that I have had a bad day, I haven’t, it’s actually been pretty good, but the weather has been terrible!

The last thing you need at the end of the day is walking to the train station in the rain!

I appreciate that we are now well on our way towards winter and the sun has decided to take its holiday to the other side of the world but considering it barely showed its face for the summer months you might have thought it would postpone its annual vacation for a few weeks at least.

Its times like this that really make you think global warming can’t be all that bad an idea, now I know how ridiculous, simplistic and scientifically unsound the idea that global warming would turn the UK into a tropical paradise is, but in my naivety the current weather has me wanting to break out the CFCs, leave the appliances on all night and revert back to a coal fire!
