A little bit about me

My name is James; I’m a 30+ Retail manager who really wants to be able to write.

So that’s the reason for this Blog, it’s an opportunity for me to get the creative juices flowing by writing about whatever takes my fancy, the idea being that the fact that I am writing should in turn help me write the things that I actually want to write i.e. the obviously awesome Novels, Movie and TV scripts that are locked inside my head.

If you want to Skip straight to the writting.. links below

And please leave your thoughts, comments, hints, tips and advice.

I recently finished my first novel. These characters and creatures have been growing in my mind for over 20 years. I was finally able to start setting them free (thanks to my wife) Thanks for following The Kraken’s Wake. Hope you enjoy my world.

Thanks for dropping by my site and opting to follow it. I hope to amply repay your faith =)

We should get along famously, both being avid Zelda fans and Robin Hobb readers.

Much like retail, accounting can be a quite mechanical role over time. Writing helps to fire up the neurons =)
